Allean’s Loving Care Inc. was founded in 1998 with the focus being on the elderly and physically challenged population in the Tampa Bay area.
Alberta McIntosh, a licensed nurse of 36 years, was able to see and experience the desperate need for this group of people while working as a charge nurse in several medical settings.
It was observed that there was a certain group of patients who weren't able to perform their ADL’S without assistance from the staff at the facility. Some were due to family members and caregivers being employed outside of the home, while others were due to the patients living alone. These patients were left alone the entire day and forced to do the best they could without assistance in important everyday tasks that are usually taken for granted.

Transportation to the physician’s office

Take their daily medications

Companionship

Maintaining a clean and safe home and environment

Getting out of bed by themselves

And many more important tasks that would put patients at greater risks of falls, broken bones, fractures and infections
For these purposes, Allean’s Loving Care Inc. was formed to successfully increase the ability for seniors and the physically challenged to remain independent in their homes as well as meet the needs of an expanding senior population in these counties while reducing cost to the taxpayer through in-home care services from highly qualified nursing staff versus nursing homes.
Allean’s loving care is well known in several counties at hospitals, nursing homes, ALF’s, rehab centers, family homes, group homes and physicians offices.
Clients are currently being served through the Med Waiver Program, Agency for People with Disabilities Program, The Long-Term Conversion Program, and still remains under contract with these programs as well as our private sector in Manatee, Sarasota, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties.
